I have created this blog to keep all my family and friends (yes, I have friends. Why is that so hard to believe.) on my cancer and the treatments I will be going through. Katie and I will be doing our best to chronicle all the events, successes and temporary setbacks dealing with my cancer and the treatments needed to beat it. Make no mistake, we will beat it.

Heavy Hearts
I suppose I'll update this more later, but Ken succumbed to the good battle on Friday, April 1st, 2011.
Services here in MD will be Saturday, April 16th, and in Cincinnati On Sat, April 9 at St. Williams. I believe 11 a.m.

I am so sad to hear this. I worked with Ken at 2020. He was a good man who loved his family more than anything. You are all in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. I am glad that I was able to know him and that he is not suffering anymore.
Kens family, My name is Liz and I have been checking Kens blog every once in a while for over a few a months. I am so very truly sorry that Ken did not make it. His writing was very inspirational to my family during the time cancer afflicted us. His blog is a great resource for someone going through cancer I wanted to reach out to you to see if you were interested in a new online social support network called I Had Cancer. It is a new and free social support network focused on connecting people based on experiences with cancer (fighteres, survivors, and supporters) so that they can easily communicate with one another and share information. I would love to tell you more if you are interested, so please let me know when and if you will be ready, I understand that his passing is very difficult, if you ever want to simply chat, my email is below.
